John graduated from Victorian College of the Arts 1991.  Since then, he has played in many varied ensembles including Ballarat Ska Union and Ballarat Symphony Orchestra.  John has been a music educator since 1997 teaching in schools across Ballarat and Melbourne.  He currently teaches at St. Patrick's College Ballarat.
